DIY Vintage Blooms~ Part II~ the tutorial!

So, for all you who love to craft here is a really fun project that is great for making flowers for headbands, decor, or even, in this case, flowers for a vintage wedding!

I also wanted to add some different dimension to the bouquet, so I made rannunculas as seen in the bouquet (top pic) by cutting out circles of varying sizes, burning the edges and sewing them together then finishing with vintage buttons & pearls in the centers! So great for a vintage theme!

This is the grooms bout. The couple is also doing a "time" theme with old vintage clocks, etc. and I just happened to have a clock face from an old watch I took apart for another project, so I added it into the bout. The timepiece in the bouquet. Borrowing some inspiration from a previous post, I clustered and draped pearls, misc. vintage items, and beads from the base of the flowers too, then finished it off by twisting grosgrain ribbon around the stems. (I'm so glad I finally got my hands on some of the professional pics two above- again, photography is not my forte!)

Here is the mothers' corsage and the fathers' bout.

So after finishing all the flowers for the wedding I decided to make this video on how to make these luscious blossoms!~ It's really not hard, just time consuming! My first attempt took about an hour & 1/2, but I got it down to about 40 mins! So if you're patient and love to craft, you'll have fun with these! Go ahead, give it a try!~
