Real Weddings!

Magazines have nothing on the REAL THING! Here is a collection of real celebrations of real love which I will be adding to periodically, to give future brides tons of inspiration for their own wedding celebration.
I am looking for more fun, unique ideas, so email me pics of your big day and they might just make it on here!

I love this huge backdrop built to house the beautiful chandelier!

This couple found a great, fun way to convert a church gymnasium into a super chic atmosphere for their reception!~ a daunting task which they pulled off beautifully! I especially love the monogram and black painted frames of different sizes~ ribbon-hung from a suspended black rod! The cozy sitting area & lights strung above it all, creating a "false ceiling", are great additions too! This is a great mix of antiques & modern decor which bring out a lot of personality for a beautiful celebration!

Beautiful on a Budget: Centerpieces

Ooooh... looks like a million bucks! but if your wedding is in the spring or summer when lilacs, peonies, spring bulbs, roses, etc. are in bloom and could use your own flowers, this could cost next to nothing! The boxes have holes cut in the tops with a small container of water inside to keep the blooms fresh! I'd have to say this tops my list of cool centerpieces!

I also REALLY love this look! Ask everyone you know or maybe everyone your Mom knows to borrow any unique silver pieces and vintage hankerchiefs or napkins they might have. Add some summer favorite flowers like the peonies and stock (the cute yellow flowers~my favorite annual) above and you have a fresh, darling centerpiece for your tables!

So simple, yet soooo absolutely charming!

For a fresh modern look, tightly stand twigs, flower heads, or whatever you'd like in a short square container. I love what the tulips add to this! So fun!

Again, you can never go wrong with the quaintness of fresh-from-the-garden flowers. And the containers and vases don't even need to match or be fancy! The flowers dance all by themselves!

This is a COOL idea! If you love magnolias (who doesn't?) but shy away from them because they're too delicate~ Go for this idea! These blossoms look amazing, but are actually made out of crepe paper. Paired with real leaves purchased from any florist, they looks so real and rich! What a fun DIY project! Check out the details and instructions at marthastewartweddings.com under the DIY heading!

Love this! Isn't dogwood just so cool?

This is cool & so unique!...not to mention inexpensive! What could get better than that?

Although to me this feels too busy, I do love the submersed flowers in the tall vases!
This is awesome for a spring wedding! Go out and cut some branches, spray with a little glossy wood tone craft spray paint, hot glue on some little blossoms and birds. And there you have it! You could also spray the branches with frost spray for a beautiful winter centerpiece!

I'm always scouring the internet for cool ideas so check this same post often as I will be adding more incredible budget-friendly centerpiece ideas as I come across them!
