Top it off with Topiaries!

Okay, this is just too cute! These would be so fun to make & you could shape yours to say whatever you'd like!
How about using huge topiaries for a very original backdrop? Compliment the look with mini topiaries as placecard holders or favors like these below as found at beau-coup.com Another great addition to that look would be these darling topiaries presenting a banner in honor of you! Very sweet!

Or what about these gorgeous hydrangea topped- topies? Just add hydrangeas to anything and I'm in love!

But topiaries don't just have to be made out of boxwood, ivy, or flowers. Use your imagination and create a masterpiece like the ones above made out of walnuts, of all things.

Ooohh...and don't these cranberry creations look luscious? Almost good enough to eat!

but not quite as luscious as these edible topies! Mmm...chocolate covered strawberries~ Definately good enough to eat! Drool!

Fantastic Favors~ Everyone loves a kiss!

To thank your guests, have a kissing booth set up at your reception! Have a seperate photographer on hand to capture the kisses in front of a cute display like this one found at marthastewartweddings.com. (You can actually download the design above for free! Thanks Martha!) or design your own booth like the one below!
If you had a couple of people working on it, you could transfer the pic onto a disk and have it ready to pick up before your guests leave! Now thats a creative, inexpensive wedding favor!

To rice or not to rice...

Showering the newlyweds with rice as they leave is a tradition that dates back centuries to symbolically wish the new couple fertility and prosperity. But "news" of exploding birds as well as other reasons, has kind of put a halt to that tradition. (for a hilarious report on if this is really true or not check out ~ The Straight Dope: Should you not throw rice at weddings because birds swallow it and explode?) So in case you are worried about killing birds, people slipping on it, or just want to do something more original, here are a few ideas:

Bubbles now come in cute little wedding~worthy containers:

Smells good, environmentally friendly, and would look so cute in a little paper cone(like below)~ 3 cheers for Lavender buds!

My personal favorite! Is anything more romantic than rose petals?

Hey, SPARKLERS! How fun is that?!!!

If you have any cleaver ideas of how to have your friends and loved ones send you off, that you'd like to share, I'd love for you to leave a response! (email me a picture too, if you'd like me to add it to this post!)

Time for Tulips & other Spring Beauties!

I don't know what it is about Tulips... Maybe it's because we've been so color deprived throughout the long, cold winter that makes them just so lucsious and lovely! Here are a few of my favorite spring bouquets...

This one I especially love!

& this one too! I'ts so precious!

Oh.. and this is just so exquisite!

Oh, and how sweet is this one!

Say it like it is...

I found this great idea in a magazine, only the letters were hanging from a plain wire hanger. So I put my own twist on it, using Scrabble pieces and hanging them with thin wire from a cute wall quilt hanger and added my signature wire heart. This could make a neat wedding decoration (or to decorate for Valentines) any way you want to do it! What about hanging huge letters from the ceiling in your color scheme? ~Let your imagination take the idea and run with it!

Simple & Natural = So Sweet!

Ilove this precious hand basket! So darling!
I love the simplicity of this wedding! Sometimes less is more especially when you can use the environment around you as built-in decor!
I love, love, love this! So great!
