The brides' choice of purple, sky blue and silver made an adorable combination! Since not many flowers are naturally that color of blue we opted for an "S" curving cascade of hydrangeas and white roses and added a touch of blue with beads and silver curly "Q"s as well as a blue covered handle fastened with silver wire.

Summer Branches & Blooms~
More Love~ilies from Martha Stewart & Co. Isn't this just so sweet? The cocoa background is what really sets this off!~ I love it!
Another from Martha & team!~ Create a backdrop that's not only beautiful & unique, but that smells so divine! Just tape fresh flowers vertically on the wall & viola! Best to use flowers that hold up out of water like peonies, carnations, lilies, & orchids. Succulents would be great as well and last for days without water! The possibilities for unique ideas for your celebration are endless! Open your imagination & run with it!

Happy 50th Mom & Dad!
For my Parents' 50th Anniversary, I am going through what seems like trillions of pictures to make into a photobook for them. What a project trying to decide what makes the cut and what doesn't! But it has been so fun reliving memories and discovering ones I had never seen before!
Aren't they so gorgeous together?!
Check out her bouquet! Pretty Chic for 50 years ago! An off-set Orchid amidst a bouquet of white Carnations! SO COOL!
So beautiful! Look how tiny she is! I fit in her wedding dress when I was in 3rd grade (well, my waist, anyway, a bit loose in the bust :)
Still in love after all this time! CONGRATULATIONS!

This picture makes me miss my Grandparents! All are passed on now except my Grandmother on the right. She just celebrated her 94th birthday!

Bouquet Beautiful!
Incredible!~(StyleMePretty.com) Don't you just love the antique roses! They're so romantic! I love the depth of this one too!
This is just so light and delicate!~ (via Martha Stewart.com)This is precious! I love the dark purple Stock in it and the seeded eucalyptus! (from Butterfly Petals.com)
This also showcases purple stock, although a little less dramatically than the one above it. I love the mix of flowers, textures and colors. (courtesy of my friend Sierra)
Wow, i love the look of Gardenias! Don't they look scrumptious?~ Like they were made of creamy frosting! Mmmmm...
So cute! Oooooh, I could stare at these all day! Okay, maybe not really, since I can't sit still for 5 seconds, but these are all serious candy for my eyeballs!
You won't believe it but these are actually all TISSUE PAPER BLOSSOMS!!! Found at MarthaStewartWeddings.com Check it out to find out how to make this drop dead gorgeous bouquet! Or hire me to do it! :)More of my handmade blossoms!

Beautiful on a Budget!
While surfing for fresh new wedding ideas, I came across these "Budget Flower" sensations from Martha Stewart Weddings.com. These are both made from inexpensive flowers, (above made completely from baby's breath~ a flower I, as a florist am not especially fond of and would normally overlook, but had a 180 degree attitude turn around about the overused, in my opinion, filler and repented of my vow to never use it when I saw this gorgeous creation! So, Baby's Breath, I hope you will forgive me! :) Thanks Martha & team for opening my eyes and for sharing your creativity!
This stunning centerpiece only looks like a million bucks, but is really composed of inexpensive Miniature Daisies, Baby's Breath and Queen Anne's Lace! Great work, Team Martha!

Lilacs and Blossoming Cherry blooms
This is a bouquet I made just for fun to see how Lilac and Blossoming Cherry branches would hold up as a bouquet. Check out the "skinny" on this gorgeous handful on the "My Floradesign" page on the top of this blog and check out my other creations while you're there :)
